Our 3 Part Mini-Programs were developed to deliver our foundational system in bite-sized programs, making difficult concepts easy to understand and simple to perform. Each program is built on a foundational pillar and advanced techniques. These pillars are what we call our “non-negotiables” and are designed to help any pitcher, regardless of age or skill level, grasp the foundations of pitching.
Pillar 1:
Internal Rotation
This program is our upper body component which breaks down the arm circle and teaches you how to unravel the arm to create whip and internal rotation. It includes a detailed breakdown of the snap and how to follow through correctly. We emphasize arm stability and how brush contact can accelerate your whip and create consistent strikes. Without this component, you will lose speed and accuracy. Mastering this concept is crucial not only for gaining accuracy but also for learning pitches and creating a sharp break.
Pillar 2:
Sequencing
& Separation
This program is our lower body component which focuses on ground force training, teaching you how to transfer energy from the ground, store it, and release it through the arm. We dive into resistance and how a firm front side engages trunk rotation, driving the arm circle down and creating massive amounts of speed. Additionally, we address the acceleration and deceleration of the motion to generate arm circle speed without relying solely on body strength or effort to throw hard.
Pillar 3:
Launch & Momentum
The final program is all about harnessing ground force for your launch. Here we combine the upper and lower body movements and discuss different launch motions, ground force, and energy transfer from the ground into your drive. You'll learn how to drive out properly, the appropriate time to open, and how to perform these actions during your motion. We also address the timing of the pitch to ensure your release is synchronized, maximizing momentum and energy for each pitch.
